Marshmallow




Marshmallow


Preparation time: 45 minutes

Cooking time: 5 minutes


-6 discontinued of gelatin

-2 egg whites

-1 pinch of salt

-150 g of powdered sugar

-4 tablespoons of water

-1 tablespoon of rose water

-1 tablespoon of honey

-1 tablespoon of dye food green or pink

-a few drops of lemon juice

-30 g of cornstarch

-30 g of icing sugar

-ice cubes



Preparation of the recipe:

Cut the leaves of gelatine into pieces using a pair of scissors, place in Bowl, cover with cold water, let them soften.

Pour into a saucepan the sugar, water, rose water, food coloring, honey. Do warm over low heat, 

stirring occasionally until sugar is well dissolved.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt in snow very firm.

Off the heat, stir in gelatin to sugar syrup.

Brush a mold with an oiled brush, then sprinkle it with a mixture of sugar and corn starch.

Place the Bowl containing the egg whites in a bowl of very cold water (add the ice cubes). Slowly pour  the syrup of sugar to egg whites while continuing to whisk, then add a few drops of lemon.

Pour the marshmallow into the Pan, smooth the top, and place everything in the refrigerator for 30 minutes approximately.

Cut the marshmallow into strips with a lightly oiled knife.

Keep cool, and eat quickly!
